Lopressor is indicated:
- To treatment or prevention of heart attacks (myocardial infarction) or to reduce your risk of heart complications following a heart attack;
- To treatment of overactive thyroid (hyperthyroidism);
- To treatment of disturbances of heart rate in those patients who suffered with heart disease especially rapid heart beat problem;
- For the treatment of those patients who suffered to the problems of rapid or irregular heart beat without heart disease (myocardial infarction);
- For the prevntion of migraine headaches;
- For the prevention of Angina pectoris such as heart or chest pain brought on by stress or exercise in patients with coronary heart disease;
- For the treatment of lowering high blood pressure also called hypertension and to reduce the risk of complications due to high blood pressure such as stroke heart attack or early death;

Lopressor Contraindications

Lopressor should not be used without consulting of doctor, if you have:
- Suffering to Tumour of the adrenal gland (phaeochromocytoma);
- Suffering to serious Angina that not well controlled by medical treatment (unstable angina);
- Suffering to pregnancy or breastfeeding;
- Suffering to Defect of the hearts electrical message pathways resulting in decreased function of the heart (heart block) heart failure problems;
- Suffering to a problem common in the elderly related to poor control of the working of the heart (sick sinus syndrome);
- An allergy to Lopressor tablets or any other ingredients of this medicine;
